Great recognition for Assumption Life

Assumption Life is once again featured in two lists recognizing management practices and employee engagement. The 2016 Aon Best Small and Medium Employers (platinum level) includes Assumption Life, as does Progress magazine’s 2015 Top 101 Companies in Atlantic Canada.

“Being included in these lists confirms that we are still on the right track", says Réjean Boudreau, Chief of Organisational Development. “This type of exercise gives us the chance to measure the levels of employee satisfaction and engagement, enabling us to adjust our practices and offer a healthy and stimulating work environment.”

Featured in PROFITguide.com, the Aon Best Employer list is a national survey. It provides an in-depth view into employee and leader opinions to give insight on engagement and performance of organizations.

This year, Assumption Life’s level of employee engagement is 86%, over the 79% obtained in 2014.

Assumption Life also ranked 9th in Progress magazine’s 2015 list of Top 101 Best Employers in Atlantic Canada. In 2014, the Company was in 22nd in the survey which takes into account revenue and measures other aspects such as governance and innovation.
